ActivEngage2 was a virtual assessment and student response solution that would win Edtech's 2014 award for Best Mobile App. Eventually evolve to become ClassFlow by Promethean (sunset late 2023) was a cloud-based teaching and learning platform that makes lesson planning easier and lesson delivery more dynamic.
Challenge
My responsibilities included development of web-based, software-as-a-service for use in educational settings. Integration with both in-house private RPC API's and public API's. As well as rapid prototyping of new products and features using JavaScript MVC frameworks such as AngularJS. I also assisted in development of hybrid mobile apps, using HTML5, LESS, JavaScript and Cordova/PhoneGap.

Outcome
I was honored to receive Promethean's 2013 Annual CEO Award in the Innovation of a New Product or Service category. It was a tremendous learning experience and I made friendships that remain to this day.
